Albury-Wodonga Community Engagement and Wellness Centre
WrightBarrat were engaged as the civil and structural engineers for this new health and teaching facility. The facility will be utilised for the clinical training of students of the School of Community Health.
Due to the sloping site, construction was mainly a suspended bondek slab supported on structural steel beams and perimeter reinforced blockwork, with part of the building built up from a stiffened raft slab. Framing consisted of a braced structural steel with a included a dominant feature curved entry roof with highlight windows.
